Celeste Roman

Senior Attorney

Celestial (“Celeste”) Roman, Esq. is a Senior Attorney at Green Evans Schroeder, PLLC. Prior to joining GES in 2022, Celeste worked for notable law firms in the Phoenix area, as well as managed her own law practice. At Green Evans Schroeder, Celeste oversees the firm’s Tempe office and primarily focuses on complex family-based and U.S. citizenship issues, including both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, consular processing, green cards, asylum, U Visas, VAWA self-petitions, Special Immigrant Juvenile status, naturalization, and derivative U.S. citizenship matters. Celeste represents clients before U.S. consulates worldwide, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) offices throughout the United States, EOIR Immigration Courts in Arizona, and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). She has also represented clients in immigration-related appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and in federal mandamus actions before the Arizona District Court. Celeste has focused her entire legal career on the practice of immigration law and, while she is based in Arizona, has achieved favorable outcomes for clients and their families throughout the United States and across the globe, including in Mexico, Canada, and the Philippines, among others.

Celeste is the first-generation daughter of Filipino immigrants and, given her own family’s experiences with the green card and citizenship processes, has firsthand knowledge of the challenges that her clients face in their pursuit of lawful immigration status. Celeste uses this knowledge and experience to ensure that she provides compassionate legal representation to guide her clients and their families through the complex U.S. immigration system.

Celeste actively contributes to the immigration law community as a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She previously served as Chair of the Arizona AILA New Members Division from 2015 to 2017, USCIS Liaison for the Arizona AILA Chapter from 2019 to 2024, and on the Board of Directors for the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Project in 2022.
