Jessie Marie Schreier is a Senior Attorney at Green Evans Schroeder, PLLC, where she specializes in a comprehensive range of immigration issues. Her practice encompasses her experience from over a decade of immigration law practice, including family-based immigration, removal and deportation defense, consular processing, U.S. citizenship matters, federal court litigation, investor visas, intracompany transferees, and humanitarian relief. Jessie has represented multinational organizations, startups, small businesses, international students, and individuals. Before joining Green Evans Schroeder, PLLC, she worked as an associate attorney at Kurzban Kurzban Tetzeli & Pratt, P.A., served as the Senior Attorney at the Dallas office of Roy Petty & Associates where she managed the firm’s Colombian offices, and was an associate attorney at Hochstatter, McCarthy, Rivas and Runde, S.C. She also served as a Law Clerk with Catholic Charities Legal Services.
Admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Texas, Jessie is also authorized to appear before the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. She earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2013, and holds an undergraduate degree in Global Studies with a focus on Global Business Management from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Jessie is an active contributor to the immigration law community, having spoken at conferences organized by the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas on topics such as inadmissibility and investor options. She has been featured on Radio Luz Dallas and received the Distinguished Public Service Award from the U.S. Department of Justice in 2014. Jessie is also deeply involved in professional associations, serving as Vice Chair of the Customs and Border Protection Committee with the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Co-Chair of the Immigration Committee for the Miami-Dade Bar, among other roles. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
