We cannot thank Jesse enough for what she did for us!!! My wife and I applied for her residency. After submitting all the required forms, paperwork and completing the interview process, we got an “intent to deny” letter. The letter stated that our option was to submit a waiver within 30 days or the petition would be denied. You can imagine what my wife and I felt when we got it. We immediately started looking for immigration attorneys; we interviewed with a couple that simply stated that the case was very complicated and gave us little hope to get it approved. Jesse is the best!! I was picked up by “ICE” in January of 2012 and place in process of removal from the country. We have returned, my husband needed to remove the conditions off of his Resident Card and even though it’s not a huge case like our first time around we still chose to work with Jesse again. Jesse Evans-Schroeder encouraged me from the beginning that my green card never should have been denied. She told me why immigration’s decision was wrong, and how we could go about reapplying. So here is a little recap of my case and our history with Green Evans-Schroeder. My deportation case started in 2008. I was pretty young, and accepted a voluntary departure to leave the country and go back to Mexico, where I didn’t have any family. I hired Green Evans-Schroeder to see if there was anything I could do. Jesse Evans-Schroeder submitted a motion to reopen my case, arguing to the judge that I was eligible for asylum. The judge reopened my case. After it was reopened, the government agreed to “close” it and allow me to remain in the U.S. But then, almost ten years later, the government reopened my case. I had no idea. Luckily, Jesse tracked me down and let me know what was happening. I went back to court, and this time I was eligible to get my permanent residency through Cancellation of Removal. I had to show the Judge that my U.S. citizen mom, wife and kids would suffer an extreme hardship if I was removed. Jesse and her team spent a lot time gathering evidence and preparing me to testify in Court. On the day of the trial, we were happy and relieved that the judge granted my application, which means I will be a permanent resident, and I can stay here with my family. Even the government seemed to agree that I deserved to stay, and I believe that is because the case was so well prepared and the many prayers over our case, they knew the right thing was to allow me to remain here in the U.S. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and so thankful to Jesse and the team for this huge win.

I don’t ever write reviews or provide feedback on anything…I can honestly say this is the first time. But I had to share my experience if it helps others to decide whether or not to hire Matthew Green. Matthew assisted my husband’s criminal attorney in my husband’s criminal case. My husband was convicted of three felonies (Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4). This resulted in immigration placing a hold on him. My husband was to be turned over to ICE after he served his time. The criminal attorney was able to get the original convictions overturned and my husband was granted the option of a new trial or a plea offer to a Class 4 felony which would also likely have resulted in him being deported. I spoke to several other immigration attorneys who all said the same thing, my husband would be deported unless all of the charges were dismissed or he won in a new trial. Matthew Green was a former colleague of my husband’s criminal attorney and she suggested that I speak with him. I did and I am glad that I did. Matthew was able to suggest a plea offer to my husband’s criminal attorney which he knew would allow my husband to remain in the country. My husband’s criminal attorney presented this plea offer to the AZ attorney general’s office. The attorney general’s office said they would see what they could do. After months of waiting, we were told that they could not give my husband that plea offer. Matt then spoke to someone in the AZ attorney general’s office and after that one conversation, my husband was given the lesser plea offer less than a week later. My husband was released from prison a week after that and immigration released the hold they had on him and my husband was allowed to come home. Words cannot even express how grateful I am to Matthew Green, not only did he give me hope where others did not, he also gave my husband and I another chance to build a life together here in the US. I am eternally grateful for that.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Ms. Caterina S. Kretz and her team. We had a lot of questions and concerns regarding the immigration process and from the moment we spoke with her, we felt very comfortable. We sought a Green Card Through Marriage, and received our green card from USCIS 10 months after our first meeting with Cathy (about 8 months from the moment we filed the paperwork). The paralegal Jennifer who corresponded with us a bunch was also great, really smooth communication and knowledgeable about immigration too, good team effort!

Mrs. Kretz has been very helpful. I was applying for a greencard through marriage and since I had some history with homeland security I was very anxious about the whole process. Ive had homeland officers be very rude and I’ve had issues with visas due to misunderstandings. Catarina has been good at explaining all the steps as well as make sure I understood the questions asked so I could answer them correctly. I deal with anxiety and this whole ordeal was very stressful for me but she did her best to calm me and inform me of everything. Due to my anxiety disorder I don’t remember well so I’ve definitely asked the same questions many times as well as gotten upset over things that I had already been informed was nothing to worry about. There was never any harsh or unprofessional communication back from her or her assistant. Only very professional responses. This law firm was legit from start, the professionalism, knowledge, number of cass theyve taken and won, they are very organized always a phone call away amd they always check up on you either by phone calls or email amd all these you can google and alao gather more information about green evans shroeder either on goggle search or on their website although services are not cheap but you get your money worth.
after many years of trying to adjust my status due to complications after my initial meeting with green evans back in late 2023 particularly Attorney Regina Jefferies and paralegal Anahi they fought for me and my family and they were able to resolve and got my permanent residence approved from the USCIS within a couple of months.

We hired Matthew Green for a criminal case based on a recommendation from a friend. He did an excellent job of representing us and kept us informed throughout the process of what to expect. I would highly recommend him because he is very skilled.
The whole process was handled smoothly. The hardest part was collecting all the documents, but that part is on the applicant. Everything was done in a timely fashion. Most of our questions were answered the next days or even before that.
